A woman in her 60s is dead and five others have been left injured following possible terror attack in central London.A 19-year-old suspect was Tasered by police and arrested in the knife attack in Russell Square that began shortly before 10.30pm on Wednesday night.
He remains under police guard in hospital.
Terrorism as a motive is one possibility being explored by police at this stage. However, officers also said "mental health is a significant factor" in the case. Three men and two women were among the others injured.
It is not known at this stage what condition they are in or the nature of their injuries.
