According to Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the body of Lamola was found by her mother. "The 23-year-old deceased was left alone at home yesterday in the morning and at about 17:30, when the mother came back, she was found lying dead in her bedroom with multiple stab wounds throughout her body. It is suspected that she might have been killed by her boyfriend," said Ngoepe.
Initial police investigations have revealed that the deceased’s boyfriend left a suicide note at the crime scene. "The matter was reported to the Police who reacted swiftly and started with their initial investigations which revealed that the suspected boyfriend has left a suicide note at the crime scene before he fled," Ngoepe added.
In an update, the suspect identified as Curthbert Manamela (pictured) a scholar taxi driver, handed himself over to the Seshego Police Station on Wedneday evening, 25 October.
The highly wanted suspect who has been on the run since Monday was said to be hiding at different places, which included Rusternburg, in the North West Province and the Bela Bela area, allegedly couldn’t handle the pressure anymore and handed himself over to the authorities, said Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
The suspect will appear before the Seshego Magistrate’s Court soon on a charge of murder.

Singapore Now Has World's Most Powerful Passport With Germany In Second Place, The UK claiming Fourth And The US Slipping To Sixth
Passport Index, which keeps track of how useable such documents are, said the city-state grabbed the top spot after Paraguay removed restrictions for Singaporeans.
That means the approximately 3.4million holders of Singaporean passports can now travel to 159 countries either without a visa at all, or can have one issued on arrival.
Germany came in second place, with its citizens able to visit 158 countries without a visa, while Sweden and South Korea tied for third.
The US passport was in sixth place, alongside Malaysia, Ireland and Canada.
Afghanistan came bottom of the list with visa-free access to just 22 countries.
Passport Index said the US passport's usefulness has fallen since President Donald Trump took office, with Turkey and the Central African Republic becoming the most recent countries to revoke their visa-free entry for holders.
Passport Index ranks passports worldwide based on the cross-border access a holder has. It was developed by Canada-based global consultancy Arton Capital. 'For the first time ever, an Asian country has the most powerful passport in the world,' Philippe May, managing director of Arton Capital's Singapore office, said in a statement. 'It is a testament of Singapore's inclusive diplomatic relations and effective foreign policy.' It is the only real time global ranking of the world’s passports, updated as frequently as new visa waivers and changes are announced, Passport Index said.

Police officers were called to a home in Conneaut, Ohio, on the morning of Oct. 7 over reports that a 1-year-old baby had been found unresponsive by her mother.
The baby, later identified as Sereniti Jazzlynn-Sky Blankenship-Sutley, couldn't be revived by emergency responders and was immediately rushed to Conneaut Brown Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Ashtabula County Coroner's office, Sereniti died from blunt force trauma to her head and trunk.
After questioning the toddler's 22-year-old mother, Kelsie Blankenship, and the mother's boyfriend, Gurto, the Conneaut Law Director's Office filed charges and obtained an arrest warrant for Gurto in the murder and rape of Sereniti.
Gurto is a 5-foot-10, 145-pound male with a deformed right ear, misaligned jaw and tattoos on his right forearm, according to the outlet. He has not been seen since he first spoke to officers on the day of Sereniti's death. "This is a horrible, despicable and devastating crime, affecting everyone who has come into contact with it, including EMT personnel, Conneaut police officers and UH doctors, nurses and other medical personnel,” investigators wrote in a statement released by the Law Director’s Office on Friday afternoon.

Air Crew Men (ACM) Akingbola Wole, Ugbong Abel, Alalifu George and Kumish Revelation attached to 055 NAF Camp, Victoria Island, were contracted by the water board’s employee, Olayiwole Oyedele, to provide security during the vandalism on Saturday morning.
Also arrested were the buyer, Okechukwu Alozie, Wale Lawal, Babatunde Samson, Ismaila Adejare, Iliasu Ibrahim and Ikechukwu Ezemba. It was gathered that Oyedele sold the irons to Alozie for N650,000 and had already collected N200,000 upfront.
The Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, said the suspects that wore military camouflage were arrested at Doyin bus stop, Orile area, where they allegedly vandalised the public utility, adding that one Clerk crane and Iveco G3 truck with were recovered from them.
According to Oyedele, he agreed to pay the soldiers N35,000 for their service, adding that Wole collected N20,000 as advance payment.He said: “I have been a civil servant with Lagos State government for over 22 years.
I work with the water corporation. The irons are scraps that we abandoned after installing new ones. I was not supposed to carry them but the buyer (Alozie) contacted me that the one that was auctioned to him has finished and he wanted more.
So, when we went to carry those ones where they were abandoned, hoodlums in the area refused. They did not demand money but they said we could not carry them.
That was how I contacted one of my relatives and told him I needed some soldiers that would help scare the hoodlums away and also escort the pipes to China Town, where the buyer wanted them delivered.
But the soldiers claimed they never knew that Oyedele was stealing the irons, adding that they discovered it at the scene when they saw that the pipes were government property.

The deceased was an official at St Georges High School. Her body was found floating in a dam after days of searching for her. It was learnt that Kamundiya visited the Mtoko Mother of Peace Community in an assessment tour in connection with a visit by mass server students from St Georges High School in Harare.
After interacting with the orphans and concluding her business for the day, the deceased decided to take a brief pilgrimage to the Glorious Cross of life which is a prayer shrine.
She was escorted by a female community member to the area whom she told she needed a brief time to say her prayers in solitude. She took a siesta and then woke up later only to realize Plaxedes’ car was still parked at the same spot where she had left her.
She raised the alarm that the deceased had told her she was going for a brief prayer. After asking several people if they had seen Sister Plaxedes, the now visibly panicky woman decided to send a search party after her at the blue cross shrine.
During the search, the party met a man who said he saw Plaxedes a while ago acting like a mad person. Not convinced by the man’s statement, the search group decided to search through his belongings and found groceries which he claimed belonged to his sister.
These groceries were the first link to Sister Plaxedes’s disappearance. The deceased’s body was later found floating on Mutemwa dam. Her body showed signs of struggle including bruises, blisters and bleeding from the nose.
The man confessed to killing Plaxedes after which he hid her bloody clothes in a sack at Chido Mudzinyama Farm. He also confessed to dragging her body and tossing it in the dam in a bid to concealing the evidence. The accused had since been handed over to the police.

Oyesanya told newsmen that she gave Olubunmi a cash sum of N280,000 as payment for the child.

The mother of Tyrese Gibson's daughter has accused the actor of breaching a temporary restraining order.
The 10-year-old was said to be 'mortified' by the public display, which came ahead of her Tuesday court date to testify against her father.
Tyrese's ex-wife Norma Gibson previously accused him of child abuse, saying he spanked their only child on multiple occasions. He denies the claims, which sparked an investigation by the L.A. County of Department of Children and Family Services.
Norma is seeking to have a temporary restraining order keeping the actor from contacting his former wife and daughter made permanent. She is also seeking full physical and legal custody.
According to The Blast, deliveries of flowers, balloons, teddy bears and an edible arrangement have also been sent to the Van Nuys elementary school for Shayla.
Norma reported both the banner and gifts, believing they were an attempt to sway her daughter's testimony, and a breach of the restraining order.
However, TMZ reports that Tyrese believes he has not breached the order, as he has not been in physical contact with his child.

Northern City News learnt that the suspect, Lawal Musa, 23, was trailed and apprehended by police operatives after breaking into the room of one Ahmed Ibrahim, who lived behind NNPC Mega Station in the area.
He was said to have carted away one plasma television set, a laptop and two GSM handsets.
It was learnt that during investigation, the suspect confessed to the crime and provided useful information that led to the arrest of his accomplices whose names were given as Audu Duku, 22, Ali Mohammed, 17, Mubarak Isyaku, 18 and Sirajo Mohammed, 21.
Northern City News gathered that Duku, admitted to have sold the TV and laptop to Sirajo Mohammed for N20,000 and N25,000 respectively.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Abigail Unaeze, confirmed the arrest to Punch correspondent on Tuesday in Minna.
Unaeze said the suspect was arrested by a team of policemen on patrol, which acted on a tip-off that led to the arrest of Duku’s accomplices.
