24-Year-Old Female Teacher Impregnated By Her 13-Year-Old Student

A 24-year-old teacher, Alexandria Vera, has been accused of having continuous s*x with a 13 year old, who is an eighth grade student.

Vera is now claiming that she and the boy are in love and that the boys’ parents knew about their relationship and even approved of it. She added that his parents allowed him to sleep over at her apartment on several occasions. 

According to APC, she said she would drop him off at the bus stop for school the morning afterwards.

Vera said the 13yrs old boy was a student in her English 8th grade class and that the romance started over social media after they met in her summer class.

She said that the then 13-year-old first contacted her via Instagram, and their relationship grew from there and people seemed to notice. She said he missed a class one day so she sent him a message asking him why he missed class and that was when he asked for her number.

She said one time she went to his house for school and he invited her in and introduced her to his parents as his girlfriend and his parents accepted her.

She said the first time they had sex was sometime in September last year when she dropped him off at home and his parents were not at home.

One student told ABC 13: “He like grabbed her butt, and everybody saw it. And then they were talking about it.”

Vera said she got pregnant in January and told investigators that the teen boy's family was “excited” and “very supportive” when they found out. However, court documents reveal that she became nervous after Child Protective Services visited her school and interviewed the couple about their relationship so she eventually aborted her unborn baby.

Officially, Vera has been charged with continuous s*xual abuse of a child. She turned herself in to officers at Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, Texas, after police issued a warrant for her arrest.

Vera's bond was set at $100,000. After release she is now awaiting trial.

After 10 years of unresolved marital crises, an Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Wednesday dissolved the marriage between a 42-year-old pastor and evangelist, Ms Racheal and her businessman husband, Mr Joseph Aduwo. The President of the court, Mr Adegboyega Omilola, who gave the verdict, cited frequent fighting between the estranged husband and wife.

To the former husband, the dissolution of the 10-year-old marriage is good riddance to bad rubbish.

He told the court that, "My wife, who is a pastor, an evangelist, a church interpreter and women leader, fought with nine persons in a day on our street, wearing only bra and underpants. She is a shameless street fighter."

The court’s president said he was convinced the couple could no longer live together as the petitioner insisted on divorce after several unsuccessful interventions. He ruled:

"The court has no choice than to dissolve the union in spite of the fact that the wife claims she still loves her husband. The court hereby pronounces the marriage between Joseph Aduwo and Racheal dissolved today; both parties henceforth cease to be husband and wife."

The petitioner, 59yrs old Mr Aduwo, had approached the court seeking the dissolution of the marriage with his now ex-wife who he described as a street fighter. "My wife one day engaged in fights from 8am to 11pm and residents were begging her to stop but she refused. I also pleaded with her but instead she cursed me and I was ashamed of myself.

"I had to take her pictures with my phone when she was fighting in the public with only brassier and sent the pictures to her family," he added. 

The ex-wife, Racheal, had denied the allegations, saying: "I used to prepare food in the morning, afternoon and evening for my husband. The court should not grant his request for a divorce as I still love him.’’

But the court insisted: "You are free to go your separate ways without hindrances and molestation."

President Muhammadu Buhari Is Not Going To Ogoni Land

President Muhammadu Buhari scheduled one-day trip to Ogoniland, Rivers State Senegal for the flag off of Niger Delta clean up has been canceled.

A Presidential source told SaharaReporters that President Buhari will be represented by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

The cancelation is not unconnected to security threats to the President from a newly formed militant group, Niger Delta Avengers who had threatened to kill the President should he step foot in the Niger Delta region.

The president had blamed an ear infection for cancelling the visit to Lagos where he was scheduled to commission some projects finished by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode two weeks ago.

It is unclear if the President plans to attend the ECOWAS meeting scheduled to discuss issues of regional security and economic development in Dakar tomorrow.

Kogi State: Gov Yahaya Bello Appoints Commissioner Nominees

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya  Bello, has appointed fifteen commissioner nominees. 

This is contained in a statement released on Wednesday night in Lokoja by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Strategy,  Mallam Abdulkarim Abdulmalik.

The nominees are  Engr. Abdulmumini Sadiq from Adavi Local Government Area, Dr. Saka Haruna, Ajaokuta;  Alhaji Sanusi Haruna, Ankpa; Dr. Tim Dichie, Bassa, while Honourable Enema Paul is from Dekina.

Others are Dr. Tolorunleke Sunday, Ijumu; Barrister Oloruntoba Kehinde, Kabba/Bunu;  Mohammed Awal, Kogi/ Koton Karfe;  Mrs. Bolanle Amupitan, Mopa Muro; Arome Adoji, Ofu; Prince Salisu Sani Ogu, Idah; and Barrister Salami Momodu Ozigi, Okehi.

Barrister Mohammed Ibrahim,  Mrs Rosemary Osikoya,  and Alhaji Idris Asiwaju from Okene, Olamaboro and Yagba East respectively were appointed.

The Governor, who also appointed eight Special Advisers, has forwarded the list of the nominees to the State House of Assembly for ratification.

Missing Person: Charity Aiyedogbon Missing After She Reportedly Went On A Road Trip

"The lady in the pictures is Charity Aiyedogbon aka Deepdeal Chacha De Hammer on her Facebook page. She lives in Abuja and is separated from her husband David Aiyedogbon with 4 children who lives with their father. Charity has been missing since 9 May 2016 when she supposedly put out a blast at her FaceBook page that she was going on a road trip.

Her cell phones 08188881301 and 09031420216 have been switched off even though we have been able to ascertain from her phone records and obtained that the last originating call from her phone (08188881301) as traced was on the 9th of May, 2016, the no 08027786161 belonging to a Rabi Mohammed. The last received call on her phone for same day was from 08032180798; this has been listed on true caller as Amani Lounge.

A couple of friends went to her apartment; House 26, 5th avenue, gwarimpa, two weeks after no one heard from her and were able to gain access in the company of a close male friend, her landlady and some security personnel. The facts discovered were;
1. Her apartment was unruffled I but no apparent packing was done for a trip
2. What appeared to be a fresh pot of soup which was now bad was on the burner, untouched
3. The gate man who also hasn't seen her said a gentleman came to install CCTV camera in company of a male friend in her apartment a few days after she went missing but when they tried to reach her, her phones were switched off.

According to a close friend, she was having CCTV installed because she had been receiving threats recently so we fear that she may have been abducted (but this cannot be confirmed as yet)
A report has been duly filed at the NPF station Gwarimpa, 3rd Avenue and to date nothing appears to have been done to ascertain her whereabouts.

We are calling on anyone who may have seen her or spoken with her in the last 3 weeks to come forward with relevant information. We can be reached on this page"

Actor Michael Jackson Found Guilty Of Murdering Wife

A court in Los Angeles has found The Shield actor Michael Jace guilty of murdering his 40-year-old wife.

He shot April Jace, in the back and then twice in the legs at their family home in May 2014, while the couple's young children were present.

10-year-old Jace's son, told the court he heard his father say: "If you like running then run to heaven," before firing the second time.

Jace will be sentenced on 10 June and could face up to 40 years in prison.

Deputy District Attorney Tannaz Mokayef said during the trial that the actor was upset that his wife wanted a divorce and believed she was having an affair, although no evidence was presented to support this.

Jace waited for her to come home and shot her before calling police.

He later told detectives that he had planned to kill himself but could not go through with it and so instead planned to shoot his wife, a keen runner, in the leg so she would feel pain.

The 53-year-old actor played Detective Julien Lowe in police drama The Shield.

He also had small roles in films such as Planet of the Apes, Boogie Nights and Forrest Gump.

I Don't want to Die, My husband is not A Real Man – Wife Cries Out In Court

A 45-year-old businesswoman, Anna Oshomogbe, has asked an Igando Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve her marriage with Edmund because his family controls her home. She told the court that Edmund with whom she had two children in their 18-year-old marriage could not make decisions on his own.

"My husband’s mother and brothers are controlling our home. If we discuss anything, my husband will first go to his family to consult with them, what they say will be my husband’s final decision. I am just like a maid, my decision is always rejected. In fact, I don’t have a say in my matrimonial home."

She continued, “My husband always spends his salary with his brothers at a beer parlour and after drinking to stupor, he will be staggering and falling into the gutter. He urinates and messes up everywhere in our flat whenever he is drunk and most times, he beats me without reason,” she said.

Anna accused her husband, who has failed to appear in court after receiving several summons, of being an irresponsible husband and father. “When my daughter fainted when she had fever, I called my husband to come home so that we could take her to the hospital, he said that he was in a beer joint and that he could not come. 

“He does not sleep at home most times as he stays with his brothers or mother. He always tells me that nothing can separate him and his family. I pay the house rent and the children’s school fees because my husband refused to pay,” she said. 

Anna claimed that her husband asked her to go to his village for spiritual cleansing. “My husband is forcing me to go to his village for cleansing; I don’t just understand what the cleansing is all about. Two of my husband’s elder brothers’ wives had gone to the village for cleansing, they died... after returning to Lagos. I am afraid because I don’t want to die now,” she said.

The wife presented a text message sent to her by her husband that she should go to his village for cleansing and that he would not appear in court for any dissolution.

The court president, Mr Adegboyega Omilola, ordered the court bailiff to serve the husband again and thus adjourned the case to June 28 for possible mediation.

Code Of Conduct: Saraki’s Trial Adjourned Indefinitely

The Code of Conduct Tribunal has adjourned the trial of Senate President, Bukola Saraki, indefinitely, after a star witness for the prosecution failed to show up at the court. The tribunal announced the decision today.

Mr. Saraki’s trial was on May 25 adjourned till Wednesday, for the cross-examination of the witness, Michael Wetkas, to continue.

The tribunal chairman, Danladi Umar, said the adjournment was to give the court time to hear other cases. The prosecution and defence teams however said the break would also give them more time to prepare their cases better.

Nigeria Delta Avengers Blow Up Two Oil Wells

These guys are really out to damage the Nigerian economy at all cost. I just wonder who's sponsoring them and to what end. The Niger Delta Avengers in the early hours of today blew up two major oil wells.

The oil wells are located at Dibi in Warri South West area of Delta State. The oil wells are Well RMP 23 and RMP 24 belonging to Chevron Nigeria Limited.

Claiming responsibility for the attack, the Niger Delta Avengers said: 

“With the heavy presence of 100 gunboats, 4 warships and jet bombers, NDA blew up Chevron Oil Well RMP 23 and RMP 24, 3:44AM this morning. This is to show the whole world that the Nigeria military is good in harassing innocent Nigerians.”

According to The Nation, Jamila Musa from Edo State, who works with Flour Mills of Nigeria, was on Sunday, bathed with acid in her home. Her words: “A minute to 10pm on Sunday, I was sleeping in my room when I heard a knock on my door. I didn’t recognise the voice immediately but now I am sure of the voice.

He said my boyfriend sent him to give me a message. My boyfriend usually sends motorcycle operators to me so I assumed he was the one that sent this one and as I was trying to open the door, he poured the acid on my face. I rushed outside, I could not shout for about five minutes but when I started shouting, my neighbours gathered and washed my face with soap; they applied honey and pap to it before rushing me to the hospital.

I suspect his wife sent someone to attack me, I did not know at first that he was married but when I realised it, I tried to cut him off. I only knew that he was married when his wife started sending me text messages, insulting and threatening me, I even told him that I was going to report her to the police but he asked me to leave her alone.

I have reported to the Zuba police station and they said they will arrest my boyfriend, his wife and her brother.” Jamila has also accused the management of the Kubwa General Hospital hospital of negligence. She said she is afraid of losing her sight.

She said: “But this people here are not attending to me, I feel as if my condition is now worse, compared to when I came; I can no longer see well, the acid did not affect my eyeballs so I believe that when the swelling reduces, I will see again. But they are not attending to me, if they cannot treat me, they should refer me elsewhere, they should take care of me, I don’t want to lose my sight.”

The Medical Director, Dr. Amadu Danfulani, however said doctors have been treating her since she was admitted on Sunday. The doctor in charge of Jamila’s case, Dr Okuonghu Frank, also said he hoped that her sight will be better when the swelling reduces.

Lagos Banker Loses N2.5m To Herbalist While Looking For A Soap For Money Rituals

Seye Olufokun was arrested in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, for defrauding Lekan, a 33-year-old man who worked in one of the banks on the Victoria Island, Lagos, of N2.5m. In a chat with a punch correspondent, Seye said, “I have known Lekan for a long time and he is my customer.

He was initially patronising me for herbs for his ailment. But he later approached me for money ritual, saying the money he was making as a banker was not enough for him. I said I could do it if he could give me N2.5m. He brought the money and I gave him a bar of soap.

I told him to keep the soap in a box for two days, after which he should check the box and he would see a lot of money. He did that, but it failed, he then reported me to the police, who arrested me.”…. abeg….

19-Year-Old Girl Uses Wizkid's Name To Defraud Guys Of N10.4m

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, has revealed how a 19-year-old girl, who had been posing as Music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wizkid, on social media, was arrested.

The young girl, who's not even up to 20yrs old, was said to have duped many people, including students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), before she was arrested. Among her victims were also two people living overseas. The money was over $53,000, equivalent of about N10.4 million.

One of the victims was defrauded of $49,000, while she milked the second victim of $12,000. According to Owoseni, the suspect, who is a student of one of the universities in the country, was arrested after Wizkid reported the case to the police command, complaining that someone was impersonating him and collecting money for shows. The suspect opened a Facebook account in Wizkid’s name and displayed the star’s picture.

She started chatting with friends on Facebook, pretending to be Wizkid. Owoseni said that under this guise, the lady had defrauded a lot of people. When people started accusing Wizkid of collecting money for shows and not turning up to fulfil his part of the bargain, he reported the matter to the commissioner.

CP Owoseni said the suspect was arrested through investigation.

Warning people to be careful, he said: “A lady was arrested for defrauding people on Facebook. She was posing as Wizkid. She was arrested yesterday. The lady duped two people.

"The two victims are outside Nigeria. Members of the public should be very careful on sending money to people they met online. The lady collected money from people in the United States and they thought they were paying money to Wizkid to come and perform.

They did not know they were dealing with fraudsters. Nigerians should warn friends and relatives overseas to be careful in sending money to anyone, especially someone they did not know or have not seen.”

Man, Wife And Daughter Suffocate In Lagos Apartment

A family of three has been found dead inside their mini flat on Church Street, Lagos Island, after allegedly inhaling a chemical substance.

Who sprayed the chemical into the apartment had been a thing of concern to the victims’ family members and residents of the area. The deceased are 30-year-old Ibrahim Yusuf, a tricycle rider; his wife, Saidat; and their five-year-old daughter, Rodiat.

Punch Metro learnt that neighbours had heard a scream from the victims’ apartment in the early hours of Monday which they ignored, thinking it was a sign of disagreement between the couple.

At about 2pm, Ibrahim’s friend, Quadri Aderibigbe, who lives on Freeman Street, said he became worried when he did not see him.

He said, “Usually by 7am he should be at the park. When it was 9am and I did not see him, I sent a boy to check on him. The boy came back and said he knocked on his door but didn’t get any response. When it was 2pm, I went to see his mother if she had seen him, she said no.

“We decided to go to his house. As we got there, we heard a faint voice from inside, but the door was locked. We forcefully entered through the window and met Ibrahim and Rodiat dead. Saidat was still breathing. There was no food around them to suggest they took a poison.”

Aderibigbe said Saidat was rushed to a private hospital, from where they were referred to the Lagos Island General Hospital, which pronounced her dead on arrival. He added that they had been buried according to Islamic rites.

“We later went back to the apartment and smelled some chemical, which suggested that the room had been sprayed with chemicals. But who sprayed the chemicals into the apartment is our concern now. The three of them have been buried.

“We reported the incident at the Adeniji Adele Police Station. A policeman who came to inspect the house said they were likely killed by generator fumes. However, the exhaust of the generator pointed outside the apartment,” he added.

Saidat’s father, Biliaminu Sodeinde, who resides in Idumota, said he was in the office when his wife alerted him to the incident.

“I rushed to their (the deceased’s) house and met the husband dead. Rodiat was taken to the Mercy Hospital, but she did not make it either,” he said.

Sodeinde’s father, Chief Lateef Olohunje, said he wanted Saidat’s corpse exhumed and a postmortem conducted on it to ascertain the cause of the death.

A friend of Saidat, who identified herself only as Bilkis, said, “I don’t believe the deaths are natural. An autopsy should be carried out to ascertain the causes of the deaths.” A neighbour of the deceased, who did not want his name in print, said he was surprised by the deaths, adding that some co-tenants claimed to have heard shouts from their apartment.

He said, “Some of our neighbours said they heard screams from their room, but thought it was a fight. If I heard, I would have come out and checked on them because I have never heard them fight before.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident. She added that the police had commenced investigation into the case.

She said, “The matter was reported to the police on Tuesday. Although the corpses have been buried, the police are still investigating the matter. As the case progresses, we will brief you.”
