The Federal High Court, Abuja, has granted former Adamawa Acting Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, bail in the sum of N500 million with two sureties in like sum for alleged money laundering. The former governor is being prosecuted by the EFCC on a five count charge of money laundering of N2. 9 billion. The judge however asked that he his remanded in prison pending fulfilment of bail conditions.
