Vihaan tells Gunjan that he organized a masquerade party and she must enjoy it. Later, Gunjan and Rachna in red dresses. The waiter gets a mask and Vihaan gives it to Gunjan. Vihaan and Gunjan dance on twist from love aaj kal. He asks her why is she hesitating, Gunjan says she can actually dance really well better than him. Vihaan asks her to practice while he gets drinks and leaves.Rachna asks some girls why did Vihaan throw this party and they replies her that they have no clue. Rachna asks Gunjan ifshe confessed the truth but Gunjan says only after she shows brother in-law how well she can dance. Vihaan, Gunjan and Rachna talks on disco deewane wearing masks. Gunjan holds Vihaan's hand and takes him near Rachna. Mayank overhears music from the banquet hall. He opens the door, enters the party and at that very moment Gunjan's mask slips and Mayank gets shocked when he spots Gunjan in the party. Ishq wala love song plays in background.
Vihaan ties the mask and they continue dancing. Mayank remembers how Gunjan said she had a test and leaves. Gunjan wants to talk to Vihaan but he asks to increase the volume. The manager asks Mayank how is the banquet hall but he is still lost in Gunjan's lie.On the other hand, Seema tells Sangeeta that she wants to wear her jaipur set as she only had one set and gave it to Gunjan. The bell rings and its hansmukh lal the jeweller . He tells them that he has come for their daughter's work. They enquire if its Pihu and he denies saying someone had come with Rachna and informs them that Gunjan had come to his store and wants to design earring out of an old ancestral necklace.
Sangeeta says Gunnjan is not their daughter but Shail's niece. Seema is shocked, the jeweller gives a book of design and leaves. In the middle of the party, Vihaan is drinking and spots Rachna. He calls her sister in-law. Rachnatries her best to tell Vihaan about the truth. Just then Rajeev enters in black. Rachna gets shocked and scared when she spots Rajeev arrives. Vihaan screams brother.Rachna wears the mask so that Rajeev does not see her. Vihaan hugs Rajeev and asks Rachna to stay back and even teases her saying she is her sister in-law. Rachna feels uncomfortable and leaves. A girl comes up to Rajeev and asks him for a dance. He denies saying he twisted his leg on the hockey field. Vihaan forces him to dance but Gunjan interrupts saying she wants to talk.
Vihaan wants to introduce Gunjan to all of his friends. Gunjan is scared that Vihaan teases her saying she is nervous. Vihaan asks Rajeev to stay till the end and that he has an announcement to make. Mayank comes home in a foul mood and Seema tries to talk but he is lost in Gunjan's betray. Seema keeps talking about her daughter in-law in the saree and jewels and Mayank gets angry when his mother inquires about Gunjan and Rachna and shouts saying he is not her secretary. Gunjan tells Rachna that Vihaan had organized this party so that he could announce his fiance to all his friend and that they have to leave before Vihaan introduces her as his fiancee in front of his friends. Seema asks Shail where the girls are and Shail assures her they will come back.
Gunjan and Rachna are near the door when Vihaan orders the lights to go off. Vihaan announces he wants them to meet the special girl for whom he is throwing the party. The door is locked and the girls try to search for another door. Hewants to introduce the girl who made him romantic as well as a poet, the crowd wants him to announce the girls name, Gunjan is scared Vihaan should not take her name. The neighbours come home to invite the entire family to satyanarayan Puja. Gunjan and Rachna are trying to weave their way and Vihaan says the spotlight will spot on his fiancee. It stops on some other girl who is excited but Vihaan cuts her saying too late. He spots the special mask he had given Gunjan and signals the spotlight. He asks the girl to remove the mask, walks towards her and removes it himself. The girl is Rachna. Both Vihaan and Rachna look shocked and uncomfortable.Rachna remembers how she and Gunjan exchanged masks.
The entire crowd makes fun of Rachna saying why make a mountain out of a molehill. Rachna has tears in her eyes. Vihaan holds Gunjan's hand and is about to says she is his fiancee. Just before Vihaan could announce Gunjan as his fiance, Gunjan stops him and denies in front of everyone saying Rachna is his fiance. Rajeev and Vihaan are shocked. Gunjan says it was a prank till now but the truth is that Rachna had some work that day so she came. Gunjan also tells that she tried talking to him but it didn't work. Then she confesses they decided to extend the prank. Vihaan is furious hearing this. Gunjan apologizes saying she never wanted to hurt him but it was just masti and they never wanted the truth to come out like this.
Gunjan says she tried telling him earlier and knows he feels terrible and apologizes. Vihaan gets shocked when he learnsthat Rachna is his fiancé. He tells Gunjan he doesn’t know if she’s speaking the truth now and how is it possible when he met her in front of the family. Gunjan says does he remember that day. Vihaan rethinks about the day and realizes that Gunjan did act weird. Gunjan tells him she’s already in a relationship with Mayank and they’ll be engaged soon. Vihaan gets further irritated when he learns that Gunjan is going to marry Mayank. Gunjan congratulates him and tells him that Rachna is awesome and the best. Rajeev tells Gunjan that she didn’t do the right thing with Vihaan andplaying a prank is one thing and she hurt Vihaan’s feelings playing with it. Gunjan says she knows and is sorry about it. Rajeev tells Vihaan to forget it as Gunjan has apologized.
Vihaan approaches Gunjan and raises his hands and claps his hands saying that they should be given a medal for being a pro at playing the prank and that they both look so innocent but their mind is that of a devil. He tells everyone togive them a round of applause. Gunjan and Rachna get surprised when Vihaan congratulates them on the success of their plan, instead of overreacting. He tells Gunjan what others couldn’t do she did and he’s her fan. Everyone’s saying that finally a girl managed to prank him.He tells Gunjan it was a really good prank. Vihaan then says its all fixed, takes Rachna’s hand and accepts her as his prospective bride and says she is the girl of his dreams and gifts her a ring. Gunjan looks happy. Vihaan asks Rachna if she would be by his side and she looks at Gunjan.
Gunjan nods and smiles. Rachna nods to Vihaan and Vihaan takes out two bangles and puts them on her wrists. Rachna tells him she is sorry the joke when on for so long. Vihaan says its alright, it was a joke and its over. Gunjan congratulates them again and tells Vihaan she didn’t think he would take it so cooly and thanks him. Gunjan tells him to forget this prank ever happened and Vihaan says these pranks usually happenbetween the sister and brother-in-law and they are just following the tradition. Vihaan then tells Rajeev that Rachanais his would be wife and this is the real one. Vihaan says he suggested to Rajeev that Rachna and him should be together and Rajeev tells Vihaan to keep quiet and tells him he’s thirsty and he’ll get some water.
Gunjan asks Rachna if she is going to hold Vihaan’s hand all day or shall they head home. Vihaan says the party isn’t over but Gunjan says they have to as everyone will be worried and its quite late. Rachnatells Vihaan to let them go and Vihaan says okay he’ll escort them out. Shail is worried the girls aren’t back and Seema adds they still haven’t come. Gunjan and Rachna come and Shail questions them when they return home late. Gunjan liesto Shail that after completing their test, they were suppose to come home but she and Rachna had to wait back in to complete their project work. Mayank looks angry. Sangeeta says they could have at least phoned but Gunjan says her battery was low as she didn’t charge her phone the previous night. Gunjan is happy seeing Seema making coconut barfi and Seema says its for her to eat during the function when she wears the saree and jewellary. Gunjan says she’ll definitely wear it. Shail angrily says the girls have outdone themselves this time and Gunjan apologizes to her that it’ll never happen again. Shail says it should never happen again and tells Rachna she should have at least called and Rachna says sorry and hugs her mother.
Shail says okay and tells them to freshen up. Gunjan and Rachna go and Gunjan tells Mayank she knows he is also angry and has some special coffee on the terrace for him to appease him and tells him tocome fast.Later, Mayank is at the terrace thinking of what Gunjan said about her test and seeing her at the hotel ballroom with Vihaan. Gunjan comes and gives Mayank coffee. Mayank asks how her test was and she says it was fabulous and its as if a burden was lifted off. Mayank says so much confidence and Gunjan says it was good so she’s bound to get good marks. Mayank asks what subject was it on and Gunjan hesitates and says statistics and Mayank asks what time and Gunjan says 3. He then asks was it at college or somewhere else. Gunjan says college and where else. Mayank asks how much will she lie and angrily tells Gunjan that he had seen her at a hotel and the test she was talking about was not at college but at the hotel. He says she was continuously lying to Shail and that if she didn’t want to go with him she should have said so and if her going to her partywas more important.
Gunjan apologizes and Mayank says apologizing itself is not enough and she has to feel it too which he can’t see from her face. Mayank says everyone at home was worried. Gunjan says yes she lied but had her reasons. Mayank grabs her hand and says she doesn’t feel ashamed lying. Gunjan tells him to leave her hand and that he’s hurting her. Mayank says its hurting right and breaking someone’s trust is painful like that. Prabhu, Seema and Sangeetha talk about music, Saregamapa and Zee Rishtey Awards. Rajeev says he’s got a doubt that Vihaan isn’t the forgiving type and asks what’s on his mind. Vihaan says he was at shock first but he doesn’t really like Gunjan and they had a thing going on in camp but that’s it. Rajeev says Rachna is a good girl. Vihaan asks how did he know. Rajeev says she’s on the hockey team and is a star player and may look simple but is focused and is talented. He further tells Vihaan to get to know her and befriend her and tells him not to rush into decisions and that Rachna is a good girl.
Rajeev asks if Vihaan has any worries to come to him and Vihaan say okay. Rajeev tells him to give and take in a relationship and that they’ll make a good pair and Vihaan says he hopes so. Rachna is thinking what Vihaan said about her at the party and smiles holding the bangels Vihaan gave her. Gunjan enters the room looking sad. Rachna asks Gunjan what happen and learns about the argument which Gunjan had with Mayank through Gunjan and Rachna asks if everything alright. Gunjan says everything will be fine in the morning.
Gunjan sees the bangels and tells Rachna Vihaan has good choice and asks if she is happy and tells how cooly he accepted it and will keep her happy and that she is happy as Vihaan had accepted her as his fiance. Rachna says more than happy she is relaxed and think he’s alright. Gunjan tells her to say what she thinks of him and Rachna says he gave her respect in front of everyone and no one has made her feel special before and she felt she was in a dream. Gunjan says to always be happy. Gunjan and Rachana hug each other.Rachna learns about the argument which Gunjan had with Mayank.
