Update: Tusday On Reach For The Stars (Episode 7-9)

Kamla is singing for Kalpana. Sahil reaches there with his daughter in hands crying. He gathers the courage and starts moving towards Kamla’s house. When the door knocks Kamla goes running to open thinking that it must be Mithal. When she opens the door she is left startled finding Sahil Kapoor standing on her doorsteps. Please save my child, says he. I can’t see my daughter in this condition. All she needs is a mother;s milk that Nettu can’t give her. Kamla doesn’t know what to say. I owe you a lot but i couldn’t get any other name in my mind. How can i feed Madam’s daughter? She asks. If not a mother feeds the child then whowill? What is my daughter’s fault.

Kamla places Kalpana on the bed and takes Sahil’s daughter from his hands. She takesher in to feed her. She says to the baby girl, i am poor but a mother. She starts feeding her. Kalpana starts crying when she is done with Sahil’s daughter. She says look kalpana whohas come to your house Nettu madam’s daughter.She goes and returns the baby girl to Sahil who is sleeping. Sahil says thank you Kamla i will never be able to return what you have done. Your husband is in jail, he will be back by tomorrow. You know God doesn’t always give everything to everyone. I needed you so i came here ignoring my ego and everything. Its up to you if you wanna come back to that home because your relation with that house is not just of a maid now. You have another responsibility too now. I have not told Nettu about coming here.

He leaves.He says to the driver i know that she will come i have learnedin the life where and how to invest.Kamla is feeding Kalpana and talking to her amid. Kamla is packing Pakiya’s school bag. Pakiya asks her if he can take Kalpana to the school she is so small that she can fit in my bag. Pakiya asks her where is papa? Mithal comes in. Kamla is really happy to see him and so is Pakiya. Pakiya goes and hugs him. He goes to see Kalpana holds her and talks to her. Kamla asks how are you he looks at her but doesn’t respond.I will make meal, get fresh, says Kamla. Kamla goes in the kitchen to make him food. Kamla says to Mithal that Sahil came here last night. a man comes in saying Mithal Sahil Kapoor has called us to the mill to negotiate. Nettu wakes upand asks she didn’t cry at the night? He says i took her out. I will never let her drink anybody else’s milk, says Nettu.

Sahil says i don’t understand if you are rejecting her or she is rejecting you and leaves.Kamla is playing with Kalpana and feeds her later. She remembers how Sahil came to her and brought his daughter too. Nettu is tired of the crying voices of the baby. She calls the nurse to get her milk bottle ready and says i will feed her. Kamla says to everyone that she is going for the check up of Kalpana. Nettu get her daughter in the lap and begs her to get quite. Mithal and his men are angry because Sahil has not reached and they have been waiting since hours. Kamla reaches the building and says one day my Kalpnana will use the same lift that residents here do. Sahil comes in and asks Mithal to inside with him. I called you because i don’t want any misunderstanding between us, says Sahil. Mithal says sending us jail yesterday we have no misunderstanding left. It was not my mistake you were protesting on a public place.If you people called me and i didn’t come then it would be myfault. Nettu is really angry. Sahil’s mom get her from Nettu. Nettu says you are here because you wanna show me look Nettu i am poor but i have milk to feed my baby.Nettu is smearing at Kamla that you are here because you wanna show me that look Nettu i am poor and have milk to feed my child. 

Sahil’s mom says you always get angry and keep hurting either yourself or others. Nettu says that is why God is punishing me i wanna sie. Sahil says to the workers that business is just for the profit. What will i distribute among workers when i have no profit. This mill is just a loss so is on’t open it. This is the same reason Singhaniya sold it. Mithal says this mill is our livelihood. What you wanna say, you won’t open it? No, says Sahil. Kamla says to Nettu stop crying madam i understand your pain. No you can’t, says Nettu. Nettu says she is being born in seventh month is she okay? Kamla says yes she is fine. Nettu gives her some money. What is the need of it you sent so many things with Dharminder. I didn’t send anything, says Nettu being a little surprised. Oh maybe Sahil has sent those things. He is right i have no sense how to take care of the people. Nettu’s child is crying. Kamla asks, can i go to see your baby? Nettu nods.There at the mill everybody is angry with Sahil. You have done what you could in these 10 months. You livelihood was attached to this place i will give you work.

Mithal says thank you for your time. What do you want work or just mill? Kamla goes to see Nettu’s daughter in the room. Nurse says have to go to bathroom. Kamla takes her and sits on the bed facing the wall. Nettu suddenly realizes that the baby has stopped crying she wonders why? You must have got the money no? Singhaniya and me had a contract whilst signing this mill that he will pay you from the amount i paid for this mill. What ever i start here i will hire you all. Nettu goes downto the baby’s room. She sees Kamla sitting there. What are you doing on the bed asks Nettu and sees her daughter in Kamla’s hands. Nettu is startled. How dare you? She shouts and grasps her daughter from Kamla. Who told you to feed my daughter. Have you forgotten your class. She was hungry, says Kamla. So what you will feed her you milk, milk of a servant. Milk is milk, says Kamla. Nettus scolds at her shut up and get out. Take your child and leave. Kamla takes Kalpana and leaves. Sahil’s mom asks what happened Nettu why are you scolding at her Nettu? Ask her, says nettu. Kamla leaves.

Nettu’s child starts srying again. Sahil’s mom asks her what is wrong with you. Try feeding her with a dropper. Why don’t you, says nettu. The nurse comes and says i won’t work here anymore and leaves. The servant brings Nettu the milk she scolds at him too. Nettu is so frustrated looking at her baby crying over and over again. Nettu remembers Kamla feeding her milk to baby. Nettu starts running in the corridor looking here and there for Kamla. When she gets on ground floor sheasks watch man if he has seen kamla ? He says yes. She says go and stop him please. Mithal is home looking for Kamla everywhere. The watchman stops Kamla on the road and tells her that Nettu is waiting for her. When Kamla’ comes Nettu says you are taking revenge of what ? I can’t move out of the room and you pulled me out of the house now. Just few harsh words hurt you. Lets go now. Mithal asks Kanta tai if she has seen Kamla. She says no. A lady says that no worries you have sent your wife to Sahil’s house again. Nettu locks the door and says i apologize you again Kamla. Don’t tell this to anyone. Not even Sahil. I will pay you 1000 more to feed my daughter but don’t tell anyone. I don’t sell my milk, says Kamla.Nettu says Kamla not to tell this to anybody. Kamla says but were reluctant when i did this. Nettu says she is sleeping yet but when she’ll make a lot of noise. I will pay you 1000 more. Kamla says I don’t sell my milk. 

Nettu is embarrassed and she asks Kamla to check if its the time to change diaper or not. Kamla places Kalpana on a side and checks the baby. Nettu asks Kamla not to bring Kalpana with her. She says how is this possible? There is no difference between yours and mine daughter she can’t live without her mom either. I will come and along with my daughter. I told you i am not a milk seller. Nettu says never try to be my daughter’s mother. Everyone there is discussing Kamla’s absence. vitthal is bothworried and angry. Manta says i know where is your wife. vitthal gets so angry that he says i will hurt her if she doesn’t quiets. A man comes and informs vitthal that no new accident or something has been reported in this area. Manta says when i says something everybody scolds at me but nowyou can see. Here after giving birth mom and child both don’t leave the house till 13 days. vitthal says i will find her and leaves.Kalpana is crying while Kamla is feeding Nettu’s daughter when she leaves her and is going to Kalpi she starts weepingtoo. Nettu comes in and says why is she crying so hard? And i told you not tell anyone what are you doing here? You slept so i brought them here. If your baby cries then i will wake up upstairs too.

Is it necessary to bring her here? Sahil comes in,Nettu says look Sahil God has solved everything. I fed the baay today. This is so God i told you everything will be okay. Have you noticed Kamla’s entrance in this house solve all theproblems. Nettu says thats why i say God is with poor peopledon’t know why they still remain poor. Sahil’s mom asks Kamla how is the baby still quiet? Is everything okay? She calls Nettu and asks what Kamla is doing here? Nettu says i brought her back. Nettu tells her that she has fed the baby. Kamla leaves. There vitthal is still worried about Kamala and Manta hasn’t stopped her smears. vitthal says i don’t wanna hear anything from you. Wherever she is she will come back and will tell me i don’t need to know from you. Manta points at the back and says look your wife is back. Mithal starts heading towards Kamla. Manta asks where were you? Not only vitthal but everybody here wanna know where you went?Well i know, but rest of all people want to listen from you. vitthal asks Kamla to stay quiet. vitthal addresses to Manta that i know you become happy seeing others sad but you areat a wrong place. You are like this that’s why your husband left you.

I don’t doubt my wife. I was not doubtful why she went i was worried for her. If you ever dare coming between me and my family it won’t be better for you. a woman asks Kamla if everything is okay ? Kamla says yes.Prem asks Nettu to play with him. Nettu says that she is handling his sister so she can’t. He latter plays with his sister and so does Nettu. Baby is weeping. When nettu can’t stop her from crying she wonders if the baby is angry. She worriesthat Kamla will come next morning. Kamla is playing with Kalpana when she turns towards vitthal. She finds that he is a bit angry but she tells her that i went to see madam. vitthal says you have a daughter of 5 days and you went to work. Last night Kapoor came here with her daughter madam can’tfeed her milk. The baby is hungry all the time he gave the baby to me an said. You feed their baby the milk, says vitthal.vitthal asks Pakiya to see if Diviyah is back. When he leaves he days don’t talk this in front of my son. He first snatched my livelihood and now my daughter’s milk. Because of him i have no job no mill but you can’t dare sharing my daughter’s right with anyone. The milk of a mother remains in the blood of a child till his last breath. He open the door and Pakiya is standing there. vitthal leaves.
