Mum Faints As Daughter She Hasn't Seen For 9 Months Surprises Her At Her Hotel (Photos)

A mother who had not seen her daughter for nine months got the shock of her life when she was waiting to surprise her at a London hotel. Lucy Patten, 25 had planned the surprise with older sister Cassie, who an Olympic bronze medallist swimmer and filmed her mum's reaction.

Lucy had been travelling around the world for the last nine months and mum Zandra had no idea she was flying home.

The family from Cornwall had arranged to visit the theatre in London and had not told Zandra someone would be joining them.

So when she walked out of the bathroom into the hotel room and Lucy shouted "surprise" she was totally overwhelmed.

Zandra was filmed fainting and falling into Lucy's arms, before she slowly helped her to the floor.

The 64-year-old kept repeating that she couldn't believe it and checking she wasn't dead in the clip, which the family have since said she found hilarous.
