Photo: 7-Year-Old Maid Tortured By Her Wicked Madam Finally Re-unites With Her Mother

7-Year-old Chinemerem is the housemaid who was recently tortured by her madam for going to eat in a neighbour’s house, is back in her mother’s arms in a very emotional re-union yesterday 2nd September.

The little girl lost her dad recently and was sent to Lagos to work as a maid for one wealthy woman, in order to raise funds for her family, but the woman maltreated her.

Chinemerem was recently battered by her madam for eating in a neighbour’s house and was rescued by a woman who took her to the police station.

She was re-united with her mother who came all the way from Owerri yesterday to pick her.

On the day she was beaten, Chinemerem who can only communicate in Igbo language, said she was very hungry that day but her boss told her to finish washing her son’s clothes and tidy up the house before eating.

While washing the clothes, she felt dizzy and told a neighbour who took her into her house and gave her some food.

While eating, her boss strolled out, noticed the girl’s absence from her duty post and seriously battered her before neighbours came to her rescue.

The emotionally-laden mother said she could not enrol her daughter in school because she could not afford it. The woman who tortured the minor has been arrested.
