13-Year-Old Boy Granted N250k Bail After Raping Neighbour’s 6-Year-Old Daughter In Lagos

A 13-year-old, was Today Arraigned before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly defiling a 6-year-old daughter of his neighbour. 

The accused is a student who lives with his parents at Iju Ishaga Area of Lagos. 

The prosecutor, Sgt. Rafael Donny told the court that the offence was committed on June 6 at his parent’s residence. Donny said the accused called the victim to his room and defiled her. 

He said the offence contravened Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011. The accused, however, pleaded not guilty. The Chief Magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, granted the accused N250, 000 bail with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till July 20 for mention.
