Man Utd enjoyed a promising start to pre-season with a comfortable victory over Wigan in Jose Mourinho's first game in charge.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho praised the club's 'amazing fans' after his side enjoyed a comfortable win over Wigan Athletic. The Portuguese boss posted a picture of himself on Instagram with two Portuguese cakes on the bus after the match.

The United squad also seemed to be happy following the game and took to Twitter and Instagram to express their delight.
