At Samrat’s residence, Urmi and others are taking part in various rituals of the 'teej' festival goddess one by one, and perform the rituals. The ladies then start to begin with the Jhoola ritual. The servant comes in announcing another gift is sends from Samrat, while she is teased by Kanchan and Anu, and Shashi fumes. Urmi is very happy. She opens the gift and finds a 'mangalsutra' inside it, and she is overwhelmed, while all others are happy for Urmi. She also reads the loving, romantic note attached alongwith. She is happy, while Saroj blesses her to always be happy like this.
Granny asks her to keep it near the puja venue, and wear it later. Urmi complies. Diwaker’s arrival thrills Kanchan, who was waiting for him for the jhoola ritual but Asha resists that Gaurav and her father in-law Devi haven't come yet. But the ladies ask to get on with the ritual. Anu asks to call up Samrat, but Kanchan teases that he would come asap ( as soon as possible ). Shashi fumes in frustration.
As the Jhoola ritual begins, all the women whose husbands are present in the house take part in the 'Jhule ki Rasm' where the lady sits on the swing while the husband gives the swing a light push. Kanchan and Diwaker lovingly do it, all smile, and Gaurav and Devi too enter, Urmi misses Samrat's presence in the ritual and goes in a daze of her own, realising her dream of the Jhoola ritual with Samrat. Soon she is brought back to the present reality, as Asha forces Gaurav to do it for her too. Aditi longingly comments that it would have been wonderful had Samrat been here to do this ritual with Urmi.
Shashi gets irritated, saying that this ritual is not necessary and asks why would he come, as he has lots of work to do in the office. Moreover he doesn't care at all about the rituals and adds that he has not ever come in all these years, then why would he do so now. Urmi is sad while all others are tensed. Just then Samrat appears and surprises her saying that what has never happened before would happen today. All are shocked, while Urmi is unable to believe that he is actually here. She screams with happiness from within, and makes a mad dash for him. He says that he had promised that he would make this teej the most valuable teej for her, and would do so. He takes her hand performs the Jhoola ritual with her, while all smile.
Urmi is in the seventh heaven as the two of them take part in this fun ritual. Rudra compliments Samrat for this act, and Samrat says that now he would give no more chance to complain. Urmi excuses herself, while Shashi fumes with frustration. Urmi gives Samrat sweets, after which he excuses again to go to the office. She gets tensed, and he explains why it's important for him to attend. She agrees and also asks him to pick up Natasha from the hotel on his way back. Samrat instantly asks her to take the car and get her herself, and asks where is she staying. Before she can tell the name of the hotel, Anu teases Samrat to ask for her gift, and he in return teases her to take it from the person for whom she has kept this gift. Anu shyly smiles. All are amused. Shashi is unable to maintain her fast and finds Asha getting ready to eat, and comes to her with concern taking her away to eat. Finally Samrat takes his leave, while Urmi thanks him for doing all of this. Samrat smiles and Rudra asks if it's very important, and Samrat says that he actually can't postpone it. Urmi silently agrees to let him go for work. Samrat says that there can't be a better wife than her for him, and that he loves her immensely. He leaves, while she longingly sees him go.
In the room, Shashi tries to take some food stealthily, but Asha’s continuous chattering irritates Shashi. She finally doses off. Asha jerks her out of the sleep. Rudra is amused while Shashi is frustrated with Asha and her nonsense. Just then, Asha’s eyes fixate on a picture, and Shashi finds her chance to steal the rest of the food. After that she hastily sends Asha off. After she leaves, Shashi hungrily eyes the food, but before she can eat, Asha’s mother comes in asking her to come for the puja. She excuses herself for nature’s call. Asha’s mother start surfing through the things and steals that which is possible. Meanwhile, Shashi happily eats samosas while hiding in the washroom.
At the Hotel, Samrat finally enters and is escorted to the private room with his new secretary, little does he know that Urmi's friend lives in the same hotel. Urmi later arrives to the hotel to meet her friend, oblivious that Samrat is there. As Samrat and the girl get romantic and take the lift, Urmi doesn't notice it. She misses the lift just as Samrat closes the door. She takes the opposite lift. They both come on the same floor, but on other ends. She misses him at every corner, turning just when he passes out of sight. Finally Samrat enters the room, without Urmi seeing him with the girl. Urmi finally finds her friend and then Natasha gets her husband’s phone, and she excuses herself to talk to him. Urmi comes to the window side, and exclaims at the wonderful weather. As Urmi glances at the other end, she catches a silhouette of Samrat, just as he drapes the curtains so as to have privacy with his new candidate for secretary, right in the room across the corridor. Urmi is shocked to sees Samrat in the hotel room while waiting in Natasha's hotel room and wonders what Samrat is doing here.
Urmi recognises Samrat’s silhouette, but then seeing it with a girl, she thinks that she was mistaken, as Samrat could not be here, and then assume that out of her love, she is seeing him everywhere. Natshsa asks her to come along. As they come out, Natasha is shocked that Urmi has kept such a rigorous fast for Samrat, while Urmi rants about her love for Samrat. Natasha says that she is dying to meet Samrat. Urmi asks her to hasten as it's going to rain soon. While leaving the hotel with Natasha and waiting for the car in the lobby. As it comes, they get in, but just then, Urmi again notices Samrat’s car parked in the driveway too. She is shocked, and gets out. Natasha is surprised. Urmi is shocked connecting the doubts she once had together. Natasha keeps asking what's the matter, while Urmi says that she remembered a very important work, and would catch up with her, after finishing it, while instructing the driver to go and take Natasha to the temple to meet her family. Natshsa is boggled but complies. Urmi decides to enquire about it with the manager and rushes inside.
When Urmi asks the reception manager about Samrat Singh Rathore. The manager confirms that Samrat is in the hotel and he gives her a dirty look, saying that she too wants to go to Samrat’s room. Hearing him Urmi gets shocked. The manager leeringly says that it's room 208, and she remembers seeing the intimate couple there. She is distraught and apalled, as she remembers Samrat’s lies one by one. She gets inside the lift in a daze and walks towards the mentioned room number and finally reaches the room no. 208, and with stumbling hands, and shaking confidence she finally rings the bell, unable to keep her composure, at what she is about to face. She wipes her tears, and keeps her stance.
As Urmi rings the bell, and the girl in a bathrobe opens the door, Urmi walks in a daze and in a stance, teary eyed, with uncontrollable stream of tears from both eyes, while the girl is baffled, as Samrat hollers who’s there, and Urmi recognises the voice as her husband. The girl tries to stop Urmi, but she continues walking. Urmi catches Samrat, red handed and guilty, as he lies naked in the bed, asking the girl to get rid of whoever’s there. Urmi’s world is shattered, while Samrat sits on the bed stunned seeing Urmi in the room having been caught in his infidelity act. She barely holds onto the pillar for support, seeing her husband in his cheap activities like this, while he is shattered. Samrat is shocked, beyond belief, stunned into silence. Urmi finally rushes out and makes a mad dash for the stairs, struggling hard to keep her pace, as she walks out of the hotel, with everyone seeing her. She runs out into the rain.
On the road, Urmi walks the flooded roads all alone while the city gets drenched in rain. In a daze, at having her whole world collapse around her, having seen Samrat in such a compromising position with a girl. The memories of Samrat’s infidelity continue to haunt her, and she starts connecting all the doubts together, right from Goa, to his infidelity in Bhopal. Her entire marriage comes in front of her in a flashback. She cries and screams in agony unable to bear the pain her husband has caused her. All the years of trust and faith in her husband come crashing down after that one glimpse of betrayal as she is unable to take the broken heartache any longer.
At the temple, all wait anxiously for Urmi to return, while Shashi is frustrated. Saroj asks Natasha about Urmi, and she tells what Urmi told her. Saroj is highly tensed. Anu and Granny are worried too. Saroj says that she is very scared, as Urmi can never be late, but Granny composes her. Finally, when Urmi doesn't return even up until pretty late, they begin with the puja and finish it.
At Samrat’s residence, as all come home and find the room all dark, they light up the room and all are shocked to find Urmi, sitting in a dishevelled and distraught state. All including Shaurya and Mandira ask her, while she sits in a daze. Shashi instantly starts reprimanding her, while Kanchan finds that something’s wrong. She asks Mandira to take Shaurya to her room. Mandira complies. All beg her to speak, but she is stunned into silence. Samrat arrives home, and asks his mother Shashi to ask what was she doing, when all others are fasting. He instantly starts to blame Urmi in front of everyone, and Shashi too joins in and begins to reprimand Urmi. Samrat tries to accuse her of doing wrong saying that she was somewhere else, in hotel diamond presidency’s room, and asks what was she doing in the hotel, leaving all the puja. Aditi and Kanchan say that she had gone to pick up her friend. Samrat asks them to continue to ask what happened then, as Natasha came but she didn't. He says that Urmi stayed behind for a bad thinking
Rudra asks him not to beat around the bush and clarify what's the matter. Samrat blames her for being intimate with another man, while all her fast and puja was a farce for all of them. Samrat says that Urmi was just dramatising. Urmi clenches her fists in anger. He starts blaming her for being infidel instead, and places the blame of promiscuity instead on Urmi. All are shocked. Samrat says that Urmi is a taint in the name of a woman. She finally gets up. Samrat starts to do a drama, saying that he has been bearing with this infidel wife, and Shashi instantly believes it, as Samrat starts putting Urmi down, saying that she didn't even think about her husband Samrat. As Urmi approaches Samrat, he is tensed and visibly at discomfort. Samrat starts hollering as to what else can he say about her. Urmi, silent all along, but she loses her cool as she is unable to bear it any longer and slaps her husband hard and tight, knocking the winds out of Samrat, and shocking everyone else. Even Samrat is not able to believe what just happened and is shocked that his wife who is scared of him, respect and care for him a lot just slaps him.
