Nigerian Lady Commits Suicide Three Months After Boyfriend Killed Himself

A Nigerian lady has reportedly committed suicide just three months after her boyfriend took his life.

The 25-year-old lady was identify as Adenike Fatai was said to have gone into depression after her boyfriend reportedly committed suicide three months back.

According to reports, the lady did not leave any suicide note, but a check on her Facebook page revealed that she had been making posts centered on depression and death and according to some reports, she was allegedly fingered and accused by some people for causing the death of her late boyfriend.

Her mother who confirmed her death, said she was doing fine, even on the day she took the poisonous substance and she never suspected she was going to engage in such.

She said:

“That day, she finished cooking around 7pm and ate. She was outside after eating while I went to the mosque. Around 8pm, she came to the mosque to collect the key to our apartment and I told her to check the shop.
“On getting home some minutes after, I saw her lying on the floor with a bottle of sniper beside her.
