Dino Melaye Reacts To Gov Yahaya Bello's Public Condemnation Of Thuggery

Former Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Malaye, has slammed Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State for speaking against thuggery in Nigeria.

Yahaya Bello had earlier today blamed politicians for the spate of insecurity in the country, as cases of bandits attack and kidnappings go on a rise nationwide.

Bello while speaking on Channels Television breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily said the country would be safer when politicians stop using thugs and criminals during elections. He said;

“When politicians stop the use of thugs, touts, or some group of criminal that is when we will begin to have safety and security.”

Reacting to the governor’s statement, Melaye labelled him as the vice chancellor in the institution of thuggery.

“Yahaya Bello’s public condemnation of thuggery, an institution where he is the vice chancellor is a serious sign of psychotic disorder and mental inherited hormonal imbalance,” he tweeted.

Alhaji Yakubu Oseni Congratulate Governor Yahaya Bello On His Re-election
My ever resolute constituents.

The much-awaited victory has been declared formally after weeks of rigorous and issue-based campaigns.

I sincerely appreciate all members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) who defied all threats and machinations of the opposition to seal this victory.

We visited the nook and cranny of the state, into the hinterlands and the remotest part to sell our candidates and the reassuring promise of your overwhelming support was sealed on the 16th November, 2019.

On this day, the electoral umpire declared our candidate victorious having polled a whooping 406,222 votes to defeat his closest rival, Engr Musa Wada who polled 189,704.

This victory no doubt, is for the people of Kogi State who are determined to permanently bury tribal and sentimental politics.

Kudos to my constituents across Okene, Okehi, Adavi, Ajaokuta and Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area who have once again heeded my admonition to vote Governor Yahaya Bello for second term in office.

As we all know that Governor Yahaya Bello and all members of his cabinet stand for peaceful coexistence of the state, I urge you all to celebrate with caution and get set for more dividends of democracy from the government.

Governor Yahaya Bello, his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja and all members of his cabinet are highly poised to do more for overall development of our dear state.

Congratulations once again.
