Tragedy: Ghastly Accident On Lokoja-Abuja Expressway, 16 Persons Burnt To Death

The convoy of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State stopped at an accident scene between Gegu and Abaji on the ever busy Lokoja-Abuja Expressway on Friday. According to the governor's Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Petra Akinti Onyegbule, the accident involved an SUV and a commercial bus which was traveling from Lagos to Kano. 

Both vehicles were engulfed in flames, burning 16 passengers to death. 
Three of the dead passengers were in the SUV with the rest 13 in the bus. One person survived from the bus and has been taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment. This is tragic. We wish the lone survivor a speedy recovery. RIP to the dead.
