Man Accidentally Shot His Egg Plant, Lied He Was Robbed

A man, Donald Anthony Watson, from South Dakota accidentally shot his egg plant, but instead of telling the cops the truth that he did it, he lied to the cops that he was shot by a 'black guy' who tried to rob him. The Police upon investigation, however, found out that the man, who is a convicted felon, lied to them. Hence, his consequent arrest.

According to the Argus Leader, Donald upon shooting himself was admitted to the emergency room about 1:30 a.m. Sept, 6th, for a gunshot wound to his egg plant. However, when the police inquired from him the cause of the wound, he said that he was shot by a 'black guy' that tried robbing while he was disposing of his bin at his apartment.
