A 13-year-old boy, Mahendra Ahirwar, was left as an outcast in his village in India because his head hung upside down. He tried using surgery to straighten his neck.
His condition is called congenital myopathy which has made the muscles in his neck so wea.
His parents Mukesh Ahirwar, 41, and mother Sumitra Ahirwar, 36, spent years taking him to see doctors to no positive result.A British woman, Julie Jones raised £12,000 for treatment. The boy underwent a life-changing surgery by a former NHS Spinal surgeon Dr Rajagopalan Krishnan, from Apollo Hospital, in Delhi. Its successful. Thanks Julie…
