After Durgadevi signs the divorce papers, Siddharth tries his last luck where he decides to get Shivpathi married to another woman. Durgadevi cannot resist what is about to happen. She walks out of her room and asks the people to stop the wedding. She descends the stairs and finally proposes him. She also burns the divorce papers. The family gets overwhelmed seeing Durgadevi and Shivpathi re-uniting.
When Simran reveals to Roshni the reason why Siddharth divorced her, she gets broken down and decides to inform this to her mother. Durgadevi shows up at the scene and just before Roshni could reveal anything to her, Siddharth reaches the spot and handles the situation. Later, Siddharth is asked to reach a location to save Roshni. But to his surprise he finds a recorded speech by Roshni asking him to marry her.
