Update: Wednesday On Antara

Sameer not only manages to get Aditya his job back, but also makes Kataria sanction the loan he had applied for. However, Aditya remains oblivious of the situation and tells Damodar that he needs more time to repay the debt. Damodar orders his henchmen to kidnap Aditya, Antara and Abhishek and take them to his hideout. While holding him hostage, Damodar asks Aditya to gamble with him and in return, he may grant him more time to repay the money.

Antara helps Aditya win the gamble against Damodar. Damodar gets angry and orders his goons to beat Aditya. Aditya manages to escape with his children while Damodar's aides chase them. Vidya finds out about her family's predicament when she calls Aditya, and Abhishek tells her that they are running for their lives. Vidya tells Sameer about the situation and rushes over to Damodar's hideout to tell him that the money has been arranged. But when Vidya reaches the hideout, Damodar uses her as a bait to make Aditya come out in the open. Unfortunately, Vidya falls to the ground and faints due to injuries. The police arrive and manage to chase Damodar away. Everyone is worried whether Vidya has suffered a miscarriage.

Vidya is rushed to the hospital. The doctor tells Aditya that Vidya is safe but the child could not be saved. Aditya is heartbroken but the unfortunate incident has a profound effect on Sameer as he blames himself for Aditya's troubles. Three years pass by and Sameer and Aarti remain childless. Sameer's mother organises prayer ceremonies so that her son becomes a father. But Sameer tells Aarti that they will never become parents. Sameer also opposes Aarti's idea of adopting a child. But nonetheless, Aarti adopts a girl called Milli. Sameer makes his displeasure clear, but Aarti decides to stick to her decision.
