New Jersey Teen Arrives To High School Prom In Coffin (Photo)

A New Jersey teen took her grand entrance at her prom to a new level. Megan Flaherty, a student at Pennsauken High School, decided not to rent a limo or fancy car for her big night.

Instead, the 17-year-old arrived in a wooden coffin, complete with her own hearse. In video shared online, Flaherty's date Stephen Caldwell and family friend Dennis McGee are seen opening the back of the hearse and sliding the casket out as students anxiously wait to see who is inside.

The drop dead gorgeous teen steps out in a dazzling blue dress as students cheer and scream. "I like being different," Flaherty told NJ.com. "I made sure my prom date was OK with it." The teen said she wanted to show up to her prom in a coffin because she hopes to become a funeral director after graduating college.
