Ami comes there and tells her mother that she did good as she rejected the night shift. Sanjay asks what is this. She tells that she rejected a night shift proposal of the hospital. Sanjay then asks her why did she come early. She tells that her morning shift was over so she came. Then Sanjay tells her how Ami had learnt a complex formula in 1 glance. Shruti gets happy to listen to this and tells that Ami has done good and she is very happy. Ami tells that now she will easily pass. Sanjay tells that if a teacher is Einstein then the student has to be newton. Shruti hugs Ami and tells that she has made her proud.
Shruti is cooking in the kitchen and she thinks that she is having many problems. She tells in her mind to harsh that she is missing him a lot and she will fight with the insurance company for money and she is alone without him and can't even speak to him. Ami comes and tells her that Sanjay teaches her nicely and she will definitely pass and she tells that she is having holiday next day and she will study that day a little as some portion is left. Shruti tells that she will pass and Ami hugs her mother and looking at her hand where formula's are written says that she will pass. Then Ami goes to her room and picks her cloths on the bed and keeps in her cupboard. She then sees her uniform and remembers that her friends had told her that she makes double pockets to keep chits and cheat. She then takes her skirt and starts making double pocket.
Khushboo enters and sees Ami doing something and she goes to her and asks what she is doing. Ami hides the skirt and tells her to do her own work and she sends her away. She then fastly makes another pocket and keeps the skirt in the cupboard. She then takes the chits which she has made and on which formulas are written. She intend to keep it in the bag when she listens that khushboo is coming in and hides them under a pillow. Then khushboo comes to sleep and sees that her pillow is on amis bed and she goes and picks it and the chits fly away. Ami gets scared and picks the chits fast. Khushboo sees the chits and asks Ami and why the formulas are written on them.
Ami tells her to do her own work and takes the chits. Khushboo asks her if she is going to copy in the exam. Ami puts her hand on her mouth and tells her not to tell anyone. She goes and closes the door and tells that not to tell anyone and she will do it only first and last time and not again. Khushboo asks what if anyone get to know then? Ami tells that she will see that. Then she tells Khushboo that she will say this in front of her to their father and tells their father that she will not copy again from that exam even in maths and Khushboo says that she will not tell anyone and Ami hugs her.
Next morning, Ami gets up and goes out. The bell rings and Shruti takes the milk. She tells him to take his monthly pay and she takes money from her purse to give him and while taking out the money, a card falls down which Ami see. Shruti comes and Ami asks her what is this. Shruti tells her about the interview and the job rejection. She tells her that she is leaving her moms job because 2 families can't stay in her moms job money.
Ami tells her that children are never a burden on their parents. Shruti tells that when they are small, parents help them until they grow old and stand on their legs. As they grow old they should not be dependent on their parents and should earn by themselves. Ami says yes and Shruti kisses Ami on her head and hugs her.
Ami goes for tuitions at Sanjay. She asks him if there is no studies today? He tells there is as it is a holiday and she will study more as it is the last day for her preparation. She asks him why there is nothing written on the board today. He tells that she will write today. She tells that she does not know the formulas then how will she write. He tells her that she will write from the text book and he will learn today. She starts writing and he repeats after she writes. He gets a call from the lawyer Ashish. He informs him that there is a bad news.
Sanjay asks what?. He says it is bad for the case and that he had gone to Shrutis hospital and she was not there. Sanjay says she must have done night shift. Ashish tells that she has no shift as she has been suspended from the hospital because of argument with the admin. He gets shocked and keeps the phone down. He asks Ami angrily why did she not tell him. She tells that she had made a promise. He angrily takes Ami and leaves to Naani's house.
Sanjay comes to Naani's house and sees Shruti working there. Shruti asks him what is he doing there. He too asks what is she doing there and she tells that she has taken leave and is helping her mom. He says that she has been suspended and asks why did she not tell him. She is silent. He tells that he got to know from outside and not from her. He tells her that she is his best friend then why did she not tell him. He then shouts at her that he is her friend and sharing things and problems with him is what a best friend does. He shouts at her and tells her why she did not tell him.
Ami asks why is he shouting at her. He shouts at Ami and tells her to shut up. Naani tells her to keep quiet. He then asks Naani that she used to give lectures on truth and she also did not tell him. He then tells that he is having a vacant job and Shruti has to come and start working with him from tomorrow and she has to come. Shruti tells him that this is the reason why she does not tell him. She says that he always takes all her burden on his head and she doesn’t want to be dependent on anyone. He tells her that he is offering her job and that doesn’t mean dependant and tells that if it is this then why is she not telling the hospital job dependant. Shruti tells him to please understand and tells him that he is doing a charity for her and she can't take that. He gets shocked and is sad.
Shruti tell Sanjay that she can't take his charity and why doesn’t he understand. He tells that he can't understand and he only did a mistake giving her help. Sanjay goes from there and Shruti is angry but also sad. Shruti and Ami depart for home. Ami asks her mother why she denied taking help from Sanjay. She replied that she can't be dependable on someone else. Ami tells that she only told that friends always help then why she is not taking it. Shruti tells that friends help but not so much that they will be so dependable on them and they go.
Sanjay is in his car and is sad. He is thinking of what Shruti had told him and that he is doing a charity. He goes away driving the car.
At home Daadi and Khushboo are talking. Khushboo tells that Sanjay and her mother must have had a fight and to remove this tension they should watch tv. Daadi tells her not to make her emotional and they laugh. Shruti and Ami come in. Shruti tells Ami to remove her maths book and revise. They come and revise. Daadi tells Ami to do properly because the tv is tired of waiting. She then starts revising. Jasuben comes with the ration items and gives to shruti. It is 1450 cost and shruti tells Ami to give her money from her purse. Ami takes out all the money which is only 1500 and Ami gets sad. She gives it to her mother and Shruti gives to Jasuben. Jasuben gives her change and gives 150 by mistake. Shruti returns the 100rupeess extra and Jasuben leaves.
Ami asks her why she returned her money and she should have kept as jasuben acts too smart. Shruti tells that they should not cheat ever in life. Ami tells that if they cheat and if no one knows then? Shruti tells that no one will know but at least they themselves will know that they have cheated. Then Shruti tells that if one copies then they will not feel proud as they have not worked hard. She tells that Ami will surely pass as she and her dad knows how hard she has worked. Ami listens to this and gets a little hitched.
While Shruti is in her room, she thinks of how badly she have said to Sanjay. She messages him that she overreacted and that she is sorry and maybe he understands. He reply back that he does not understand. Shruti is sad.
Ami is in her room and tells her father that she is copying for the last time but does not want to but she has to because she wants to pass and not fail. She tells him sorry. Khushboo tells her to do properly and pass and if she is caught then she will be thrown out of school and then fail and she will not pass and khushboo continues scaring her and Ami tells her to keep quiet as she is scaring her.
Ami gets up in morning for the exams. She gets ready. She goes to her Naani for blessings and Naani tells her to do the exam properly and she gives her the Prasad. Ami and Khushboo go to school. Ami enters her class. The boy asks her if she is prepared. The girl asks her if she has made chits. She puts her hand in her pocket. There are no chits in it. She tells that she has forgotten the digest in auto in which there are chits till then the auto comes and gives her the book she forgot. She gets calmed and leaves. The teacher comes in and tells the students those who have to give exam today to go in other class for the exam. Ami goes but does not take the chits. They get the question paper and Ami gets scared and the teacher asks her what happened.
Ami says that the question paper is but the students laugh before she could complete her sentence. Ami’s friend who is ahead tells her to copy from her paper. She thinks of copying but then remembers mother’s teachings. She then looks at the paper for hours and then remembers what Sanjay had taught her and does only those related questions. The time is over and the paper is taken. All the students go out after the exam and the girl tells her other friends that Ami did not copy as Ami was getting scared. Khushboo comes and looks at her. Ami tells Ami's friends that copying is wrong and she wanted to pass by working hard and not cheating. Khushboo smiles and tells her sister they should go. Her friends tells her that it is the right but atleast she would pass. Ami leaves.
Sanjay’s mom asks him how much more will he help Shruti? She asks what is his and Shruti’s relation. He gets angry and tells her to keep quiet and that Shruti is his college friend and is his dead friend’s wife and she is his best friend. Then he tells that he is doing everything that he can for his friend and she is like shouting at him. He goes from there angry.
Shruti comes home from office and everyone is happy. She goes and tells Ami that she has brought surprise for her and Khushboo. They ask what and start guessing. Then Shruti shows them the gift, there are chocolates and both get happy and pick up all of them. Shruti says happily that she has got 2 good news, 1 is that Ami has passed in exams and other is she has got job in Sanjay’s office. Ami gets happy and congratulates her and Daadi and Naani come and tell her that it is good and they congratulate Shruti. Their servant comes and gives money to Ami and advice her to study like this and pass in all exams. Then Ami tells Shruti that she wants a gift for her exam. Shruti asks what, she tells that she does not want anything but just wants permission. She says ask, Ami tells that she wants to play Dandiya with her friends.
Shruti says yes and says what is there to ask in it. She can call her friends here and play in the chowk, Daadi says she will make tasty food, Naani says that that all is olden times food, she will make pizzas for them. Then Ami says that she does not want to play there but wants to play at disco Dandiya. Everyone get shocked except Naani. Shruti tells that Ami will not go at disco Dandiya. Ami says that all her friends go there and go even before her.
Shruti tells that she is just 14 years and she will not go in that party. Naani says that it's okay and it is the modern world and children should be allowed. Shruti goes to her and tells that she does not know what happens in such parties, boys drink beer and force girls to drink. Then Naani apologizes and tells that they should not allow Ami to go and then Shruti and Naani tell that Ami will not go in that party and she does not want anymore argument. Ami goes from there angry and sad.
Shruti goes to office and enters Sanjay’s cabin. There, she sees that Sanjay is worried. She asks what happened? He says that his mom wants him to marry Bhavna and he does not want to because she is not that type of girl he wants and his mom is forcing him. Shruti says that’s right and he should marry fast, he says that not so early. She says that Ami will marry before him and he will stay like that. He says that it would be better because they would give his mom to find a boy for Ami and till then she would not focus on him.
Just then, Sanjay’s main boss comes and asks for a file which he had to submit the day before. He says that he got the information late last night and today morning he could not complete so he will give it in the evening. Shruti then gives the file and says that she had completed it already last night and she did not know that it had to be submitted the day before, if it was that then she would have given it the day before. Then the boss takes the file and says sorry and leaves. Sanjay says that it was cool and she did that work and he says that, his boss never says sorry to anyone and how did he tell her and asks if she do a magic and she says that it was her magic which made him say sorry and she leaves.
Ami is in school and she and her friends come running up and sit on stairs. They tell about their preparations for Dandiya. 1 friend shows the steps with the Dandiya. They ask Ami if she is coming. She says that no because her mom is not allowing her. They say that they will take her with them. She says yes and then they get happy. Then 1 friend shows that she has coloured some hair, Ami says that she is full pass. Then they ask the meaning, she says that it means that if one is good then full pass and if bad then full fail. Then they ask about kakkad miss she says full fail teacher, then the teacher is coming and they say that kakkad is coming. They come and sit.
Kakkad sees them and asks that what they are doing here leaving the assembly, they say how can they stay at 2 places at 1 time, kakkad asks that she is asking and what they are doing there. Ami acts of having stomach ache and kakkad says they should take her to the nurse and they say that that’s why they were there. Kakkad leaves. They all laugh and go to the canteen. There they talk and then keep their groups name “timepass”.
At home, Sanjay comes with Shruti and tells that he has brought surprise for Khushboo and Ami. He gives it to them. Then he sees that Ami and Shruti are not talking and Khushboo tells him about the disco Dandiya thing and he tells that he was going to take them for dinner but how will he take as Ami and Shruti are not talking. Then he tells that if Ami promises him then he will take them. Ami promises. Then they get ready and sit in the car and go. Pravin’s wife sees them and tells Jasuben that something is going on between Shruti and Sanjay.
Jasuben tells that they both are best friends and how can there be something between them. She tells to just understand and see that there is something in between them. At home Daadi is watching serial and Pravin’s wife comes there(Nisha), she gives besan laddoo to Daadi and tells her that she has seen that Sanjay and Shruti went like a happy family and looks like they are having something between them. Daadi gets angry and tells her that Shruti is not like that and she will never do this and she tells her to go from there. Nisha tells that she is blind and tells her to go out from the house. she leaves.
