Update: Tuesday On Life Of Ami (Episode 40-42)

Ami and Khushbu stalk Jassuben’s house and overhear the house buyer (Jagdish) saying that he wants to check the house he is buying to see if it is auspicious. Jassuben assures him it has always brought good luck to whoever lived there.

Ami makes a plan to scare Jagdish by saying the house is haunted. Ami deflates the tyres. They find the builder’s card on the floor and pick it up. In the meantime Ami forgets her walkie-talkie near the window she was eavesdropping from, which Jasuben finds. Prabha says that though the news did not mention Yogesh’s name and people must have realised. Mr Mehra advises Prabha not to call their daughter home at this time as Yogesh would need her. He says they should support as Yogesh has not been proved guilty.

Prabha says she wants her daughter to come back home. Suyash’s wife advises her not to rush into anything and to let the police do their inquiries and if Yogesh is guilty, then to do the needful. She tells her not to bring Riddhi home at this stage as they also have to get their daughter married soon and this can affect her life as well. Instead, they should make Riddhi understand her duties as a wife. Khushbu switches off her walkie-talkie so that Jassuben can’t trace them.

At home, Shruti is very worried and so forgetting things. The girls pretend not to know the reason and Ami calls up Naani and tells her to come and help Shruti on the phone to Sanjay as he enters the house. Prabha asks her where she is and Riddhi says Yogesh has not come home since last night. She starts crying. Prabha tells her to come home. Sanjay tells Prabha not to call her home as Yogesh will worry when he returns. Sanjay tells Riddhi to trust in Yogesh and call him if she needs anything.

Prabha doesn’t like what Sanjay did and tells him that he trusts too easily and selfish people make use of ones like him by pretending to love them. Sanjay asks Shani to go to Yogesh’s friend’s place. He then tells off Prabha for pulling Shruti into every matter. Naani reaches and goes to talk to Shruti. Ami calls Jagdish and tells him that the house Jasuben is selling him has a bad spirit and whoever comes to buy, is chased away. She asks if anything bad happened today and says that the deflated tyre would have been the work of the spirit. Khushbu and Daadi listen to all this happily.

Shruti confides in Naani that he does not understand Sanjay as on one hand he says he loves her and on the other hand he scolds her like his servant. Naani pretends to be angry at his behaviour and is about to call him but Shruti stops her and admits that she had been at fault and caused a loss for the company. Naani asks so who is at fault? The one who refuted his love? Naani says Shruti has fallen in love. Shruti says Sanjay will find a better girl than she who is a widow with 2 daughters.

Naani makes her understand that Sanjay loves her a lot and God has given her a second chance to love someone and get another chance of life. She tells her to grab the chance. On the other hand, Sanjay asks Ashish for advice regarding Yogesh’s matter. Prabha is more worried that people will taunt Riddhi that her husband is a cheat. They hear on TV that Yogesh has been arrested. Jassuben come and scolds Ami for interfering.

Shruti comes and scoldsJasuben who in turn taunts her for sending her daughters to mess up her work and tells how Ami punctured Jagdish’s car and threatened him on phone. Shruti asked how Jagdish knew and Jassuben said Jagdish is very smart and then she says she has a bigger proof and shows Ami’s walkie-talkie. Jasuben gives Shruti just one month to move, otherwise she would kick them out.

Sanjay and Ashish in the police station. They have come to do Yogesh’s bail and then they go to meet Yogesh in the jail. They ask Yogesh everything about the scam and he tells that the day the fake passports were made he had not gone to the office and was at home the whole day. Then Ashish asks him whether he has any proof or witness that he was at home the whole day. Then Yogesh says that he doesn’t have because Riddhi was also not at home for 2-3 days and was at Sanjay’s place.

Then Yogesh says that now its impossible for him to come out of this scam but Sanjay assures him that he will find out some way. Then Ashish and him leave. Ashish asks him that how will he help Yogesh as they need a witness and Sanjay says that he will definitely find out a way and calls Shruti for some suggestion but then disconnects the call as he remembers what Shruti says. Then Shruti wakes up and thinks why Sanjay called and they both are thinking about each other and Darmiyaan song plays in background.

Sanjay comes home and sees Riddhi crying. Riddhi goes on crying to Sanjay and asks him what happened but Sanjay tells her that they need a witness and they all think about this for a solution. They all leave. Next morning at Shruti’s house, while they are having breakfast, she reads the newspaper and gets to know about Yogesh in jail. She then calls Sanjay and he tells her everything.

She then calls Ashish and tells him that she will be the witness and she is shown going to the police station with Ashish. Sanjay calls Ashish and Ashish tells him that they got a witness and he takes Shruti’s name. He gets shocked hearing this. He talks to Shruti and tells her not to do anything of this sort as this will put her into problem and he can’t see her in problem as he loves her. Then Shruti says that she also can’t see him in problems.

Shruti and Ashish are in the police station, she signs the bail papers for Yogesh and by the time Sanjay comes there but he gets late. Sanjay reaches police station and then finds out that Shruti has saved Yogesh by signing papers as a witness. Yogesh gets bail and Sanjay takes Shruti outside by pulling her hand, he asks her that even after him telling her to not give the witness then why did she give a fake witness and this can also put her into problem and she can go to jail. She then says that she helped him because she already has many favours of him and she then says that she can’t see him in problem.

On the other hand, Riddhi apologises to Prabha that she should have listened to them and not married Yogesh and that she and Yogesh are totally different. She cries and then her dad comes and gives them the news that Yogesh is out of jail now and they got some witness. At the police station, Yogesh thanks Shruti and tells her to come home and meet everyone. After much of insistence she agrees.

Meanwhile, Ami and Khusboo plan to teach Jassu Ben a lesson and she tells Daadi. Then Daadi tells Ami that now she shouldn’t create some more tension and shouldn’t do anything. Shruti goes to their house and Sanjay's family gets shocked to learn that Shruti has risked her life to save Yogesh. Everyone is happy but Prabha is also not so happy. Everyone thanks Shruti and then Prabha also thanks her. Then she leaves.

Prabha talks about Shruti to her husband and then Sanjay comes and they both have an argument on love(Shruti). Sanjay says that he won’t change his decision and Prabha says that even she is his mother and she also promises that she won’t let this happen.
