Hate Incidents can feel like crimes to those who suffer them and often escalate to crimes or tension in a community. Example could be found in disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, this is also dealt with either as a hate crime or non-crime hate incident. Bullying could include name-calling, being spat at or kicked, or having your things taken or damaged.
For this reason the police are concerned about incidents, and can only prosecute when the law is broken but can work with partners to try and prevent any escalation in seriousness.
As a result NASFAT Nottingham in collaboration with the Nigerian Yoruba Association will be hosting the Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire Mr Paddy Tipping on a one hour talk at their Asalat Venue on 141-143 Berridge road , NG7 6HR Nottingham, on Sunday the 1st of May 2016 between 3pm and 4pm.
This is a rare opportunity to speak out your bottleneck issues directly to the great man in charge.
Looking forward to see you there...
Alhaji Abdul Hakeem Atilade
Missioner, Nasfat Nottingham
