Suhnaina tells herself that Udham’s life is now spoiled because of her.Udham leaves in anger and Neelam follows him. Slowly everyone leaves and Kanhaiya looks at a crying Sona. The headquarters clerk informed them that he tried talking to his superior but there hasn't been any response yet .Sona enters the room calling Udham. He stops Sona from entering and asked what she came for? He asks her to leave. Sona got shocked. She then walks towards Neelam and Neelam stops her as well. She asks her to leave from their room .
Sona got shattered. She replies, even you? Neelam tells her that she doesn't wish to talk about anything with her. She replies that she was only worried about Udham and he was in such helpless condition because of her. Sona got shocked. Neelam asks Sona to leave and refuse to listen to anything Sona has to say. Sona is sad and turns back to Neelam and leaves the room . Suhnaina asked the possible way for Udham to be out of his current problem? The headquarters clerk informs her that the person who wrote the article was none other than her daughter in law. He later on tells her if Sona writes an article that all those news turns out to be false, only then Udham can be proved innocent. Suhnaina goes to Sona and asks her to write an apology that she wrote the article without any proof. Kanhaiya tells Suhnaina that she is right as everyone in the house is upset because of this.
This apology has to be published in the paper the next day. Sona remains silent and Suhnaina asks Sona to go and make sure that it is done within 24 hours or no one in the family will speak to her. Kanhaiya asks Sona to act fast and Sona leaves. Sona enters the office of her editor and he asks how Sona was faring. She replies that she came to speak about her article but the editor kept on getting calls. Sona informs him that she wants to write an apology article. The editor tells her that their newspaper is getting publicity because of the article but Sona explains what happened. The editor informs her that he will need to speak to his superior and only he will decide but he is currently not in town. He tells her that he will try speaking to him and Sona asks him to please try his best. Sona returns home.
Sona recalls Suhnaina’s words as she is about to enter the house but she is confident to solve this problem. Sona hears the ice cream man selling Ice Cream. She comes in with some Ice Creams and calls everyone. Dimple comes out and thanks Sona for buying it as Bindiya never allowed her to eat ice cream. Everyone comes out and Suhnaina asks if she has solved the issue regarding the apology article? Sona tells her that she have informed her superior. But he had currently travelled to Lucknow and she is confident that the article will be published. Suhnaina asked if she hasn't confirmed that the article will be published. She further informs her that till her editor doesn’t comes back, Udham’s work is still at stake? And just to cover this up, she bought ice cream for everyone? Sona replies that she actually meant well...
Suhnaina asked her not to explain and throws the ice cream away. Suhnaina tells her if she thinks that she can bribe them just with an ice cream. Suhnaina tells everyone that she has given Sona 24 hours and if the article is not published, she will forget that Sona is the daughter in law of Chaturvedi family. Suhnaina asks everyone to leave and not to talk to Sona till the article is published. Sona cried. Sona goes and pick up the ice creams. Bindiya tells Govardan that Sona bought ice creams just to please them and does he by any chance think that the article will be published? Bindiya also taunts that Kanhaiya and Sona used to be romantic but just look at what is happening now. Kanhaiya is in the police station and looking more serious, his constables tries making jokes to make him laugh but Kanhaiya still remains serious.
At night in the Chaturvedi house, there is no electricity and everyone is wondering how to stay at home when its so hot. Sona brings an oil lamp and she almost falls down but Chacha ji asks her to be careful. Everyone was sitting down and Sona gives Suhnaina a fan since its warm. Sona fans Suhnaina while Suhnaina says that there is no much time for her left. Sona tells her that she has hopes that all will be fine and the electricity will come back. The house phone rings. Sona’s editor informs her that his superior was not willing to publish the apology. Everyone got shocked especially Udham. Sona tries pleading but the editor hangs the call. Suhnaina informs her that she said all will be fine, rather a big mess has been created.
Sona tries to take away the oil lamp but it falls down and breaks. Suhnaina asks what else is she was going to do? Sona tries to explain and Suhnaina says enough! You have done everything you could and i have only one request from you. Don’t come before me! Sona looked helpless to everyone and leaves. Sona sits in her room sad and crying. Kanhaiya comes and holds Sona by her shoulder and Sona hugs Kanhaiya. Kanhaiya wipes her tears. *Flashback* where Sona explains to Kanhaiya that she wrote the article before her wedding and Kanhaiya tells her that she just did her duty and he himself wasn't very happy with everything happening in the house. Let me go and speak to mummy ji that she should not accuse you like this. Sona stops Kanhaiya not to say anything to Suhnaina as she is very angry and she will think that Sona fueled Kanhaiya against her. Kanhaiya tells her so you want me to remain silent? I can’t take any bad things happening and Sona asks Kanhaiya to listen to her and to be by Suhnaina’s side.
Kanhaiya asks how about her well being. But Sona tells her she will try to manage the situation and asks Kanhaiya to agree to her which Kanhaiya agrees. The scene in the living hall which Kanhaiya blamed Sona that everything is because of her is also part of Kanhaiya agreeing to Sona. *End of Flashback* Kanhaiya tells her that he wants to go now and inform everyone that its not Sona’s fault.In the morning as the 24 hours approach and she isnt able to do anything.Sona cries while Kanhaiya holds her close. Sona brings coffee for Suhnaina and Suhnaina folds her bedsheet on her own. Sona tries to help but Suhnaina stares at Sona.
Suhnaina takes a sip of the coffee Sona made and drops it on the bed on purpose Sona changes the bedsheet and puts for washing. Bindiya takes out the bedsheet and puts her own clothes. Sona tries explaining but Bindiya pretends not to hear. Sona enters the kitchen and sees Neelam. She doesn’t speaks to Sona nor allows her to do any work. Suhnaina comes to Neelam and asks Neelam to wash her bedsheet as some people can’t do their work. Sona tries explaining and Suhnaina leaves. Kanhaiya comes down and sees Sona looking sad and asks her to smile, Sona smiles to Kanhaiya with Tum Ho being played.
Chacha ji reads the newspaper and calls everyone happily to see what was written in the paper. Chacha ji reads an article about the Indian Army where the army officers had been suspected are innocent and the real culprit to be caught soon. Everyone is happy and Sona receives a phone call from her editor. Her editor informs her that they could not publish the apology article as their publication name would be at stake but because of Sona, they had written this new article with care and Sona thank him. Sona informs him that she always knew that Udham was innocent. Kanhaiya tells them to forget what had happened. Suhnaina replies that that i told you to publish an aplogy article but nothing like that was written here. And where is Udham’s name in this article which says that he is innocent? Sona pleads with her to have trust in her since she doesn't have the power in her hands. Suhnaina says that your article made my son lost his job. Now did your new article made him get back his job? How about our family name? My decision remains and no one in this house will speak to you and everyone has to pretend she doesn't exist in this house. This is your punishment for your mistake. She said. Kanhaiya looks at Sona. No one seems happy and Sunaina walks away and everyone starts leaving. Chacha ji whispers to Sona not to worry as everything will be fine.
Sona picks up the paper and looks at Kanhaiya. In the room, Kanhaiya is so angry and says enough is enough Sona! What else will we do now? Go to the army headquarters and ask them to give him back the job??? How could mummy decide such thing? Enough! I am going to go and speak about this to mummy. Sona is completely lost in thougts. Sona comes back to her senses and tries to stop Kanhaiya. Kanhaiya shouts to Sona not to stop him and to see what happens. Sona tells Kanhaiya to let her solve this instead. Suhnaina sees Kanhaiya and Sona speaking and they both remain silent. Suhnaina appeared before them.Kanhaiya pretends to be angry with Sona and Sona smiles to kanhaiya. Kanhaiya sees Suhnaina leaving and Sona thanks Kanhaiya for agreeing to her. Kanhaiya asks what will you do next? Sona says lets see what happens next. Sona is sweeping and the broom hits Govardan when he is leaving the house. Govardan scolds Sona and realizes that he shouldn't have speak to her. Sona tells herself that Govardan reacted to her when he was angry. At least they will speak to her when she makes mistake.
Sona goes to Bindiya’s room and sees Darshana together with her. She enters saying that she had ironed Dimple and Chicku’s clothes, is there anything of hers to iron but Bindiya remains silent. Sona tells her that the socket in her room is faulty and takes the iron to starts ironing on the table in Bindiya’s room while Bindiya and Darshana continues to ignore Sona. Darshana was checking out Bindiya’s cosmetics and Sona talks supporting Bindiya. Darshana asks Sona, you think you know better than me and Sona smiles. Sona purposely leaves leaving the iron on and Bindiya asks Sona to off it before leaving or she would get a scolding from Suhnaina instead. Sona says sorry and off the Iron and says that i would not tell Mummy that you both talked to me.
Both Bindiya and Darshana looks at each another. Darshana, Udham and Manohar were sitting at a shop when Sona comes to buy things and greets them. Everyone ignores Sona. They got talking about Cricket and Sona gives her comments about the Crickets. Manohar asks what do you know about Cricket and Durgesh supports it. Udham says that reporters like you always don’t cover the exact news right? Sona smiles and says thank you so much. Even while angry, all of you talked to me and Sona leaves smilling. Sona calls Neelam to bring oil but she gets angry when she sees Sona. Sona smiles and enters the kitchen taking out the oil and starts planning. Sona brings the cooking oil to Suhanina and gives it to her. Suhnaina stares and calls out to Neelam.
Neelam arrives and Suhnaina tells her that what is this Sona trying to prove? Trying to win my heart? Tell her that she has nothing to do with me and leaves in anger. Neelam leaves and Sona accidentally walks by a light lamp and it almost falls. Neelam asks Sona, could you not see. Sona holds Neelam’s hands saying you talked to me and Neelam pulls out her hands. Sona says that no matter what happened, all of you still accept me and that’s why you all get angry with me. Even Mummy ji but her anger is more and i will cool her down. Sona and Kanhaiya were washing their clothes together and laughing when Sona says that everyone scolded me today but at least they talked to me except for Mummy ji. Kanhaiya says don’t worry Sona. mummy ji will also talk to you soon.Sona sees Suhnaina standing behind Kanhaiya and keeps quiet.
Kanhaiya pretends to get angry with Sona and leaves. In the night, Dimple asks Suhnaina permission to watch TV and Suhnaina scolds her that no one will be watching the TV. Suhnaina sees Indira Devi, her friend on the frontpage of the newspaper. Udham asks how Suhnaina knows her as she is a very famous industrialist Suhnaina says that she is Indhu for me and she is my childhood friend. We studied together and she went to Delhi for studies. Udham says then Indrani Devi can help me since she knows many ministers in Delhi. Udham asks Suhnaina to speak to Indrani Devi but Suhnaina tells her that she will surely do it the next day. Sona comes asking if she can follow them along? Sona says that she knows Indrani Devi since she had interviewed her before and she will be able to explain the situation.
Kanhaiya comes saying that he is still angry with Sona but Sona is right and she should go with them. Durgesh replies that Suhnaina is still angry with Sona, how will they both go together? Chacha ji replies that Dimple can go along and Kanhaiya smiles to Sona. The next day, Sona makes Dimple sit inside and Suhnaina comes to sit next to Sona. Suhnaina makes noise asking Dimple to get up and sit in between. Suhnaina stops to buy some sweets that Indira likes . Suhnaina asks Dimple to ask Sona to pay and she will return it back at home. Sona says mummy ji, even after all this years.. you still remember what your friend likes. If i was you, i don’t think i can remember this. Suhnaina remains silent. They reach at a hotel where Suhnaina sees Indira coming out and Suhnaina calls her Indu and goes hugging her. Indira looks at Suhnaina asking what she was staring at.
Suhnaina gives the sweets. Indira throws them away saying that she doesn't eat oily food and she doesn't know Suhnaina. Suhnaina tries explaining. Indira says that she doesn't know Suhnaina and recognizes Sona as the reporter. Sona says that she is no more a reporter now and she is a housewife. She is the bahu of Suhnaina but Indira tells her that her future was very bright but you are now a housewife? Many women makes this mistake and Sona replies, how do you know that this is a mistake? I don’t wish to argue on who is better between a housewife and a working wife. Sona tries supporting Suhnaina and Indira just looks.
