Governor El Rufai At Kaduna State Radio Station, Speaks On Rape Cases (Photos)

Governor of Kaduna Malam Nasir El rufai was live on KASU FM 98.5 this morning to discuss on how the government is addressing issues that matter to youths in the state. The governor made a strong emphasis on the issue of rape -saying his administration will review some policies as pertaining to that.

Below is what he said on rape issue;

We have decided that every case of rape should be reported directly to the Governor for urgent monitoring. Unfortunately we have found out that rape is actually a bailable offense in the penal code. So we are reviewing that! We found out one of those arrested for rape was released on administrative bail by a DPO. We are working to take harsh measures. Do not feel you are too young to advise us. You are the 88%. All our decisions revolve around you.
