Yesterday the EFCC secured the conviction of Nwabueze Nkwuda. Justice M. A. Onyetenu of the Federal High Court Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, sentenced him to 2 years on count one and 4 years on count two, with the sentences to run concurrently.
The fake currency notes were changed to original and handed over to him for his upkeep while in jail.
